Children's Services Program
- Description
- Subsidized Day Care
- Provides financial assistance towards the cost of day nursery or private home day care services for parents, foster parents or legal guardians
- Assists child care agencies in the assessment of children with special needs
- Prepares individual program plans
- Provides support to regular caregivers in carrying out daily activities for each special needs child
- Provides funding if available for Ontario Works recipients who are taking part in approved activities, to help pay for child care expenses in either Licensed Child Care Facilities or with Informal Care Providers

- Must meet income eligibility and complete an Income Test
- Qualifying families must be working, attending training or school or have a child with special needs
Special Needs Resourcing- Parents/guardians of children with disabilities
Residency Requirements: North on Hwy 11 to Bourkes Road, South on Highway 11 towards Nipissing District, East to the Quebec border and West close to Hwy 144 - Must meet income eligibility and complete an Income Test

- Requires an interview with the parent(s) and completion of income test, parental agreement and release of information consent
- Referrals are made by Health Professionals such as Physicians, Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist
