- Housing Security: The Help Centre supports clients with a full time Housing Support Worker and part-time Landlord Liaison. For those more self-sufficient, up-to-date Northumberland housing listings are available by email, website and community agencies.
- Housing Support Worker assists with: housing search, arranging apartment viewings, completing rental applications, as well as Rent-Gear to Income application, review personal budgets and hold a 3 months follow up to address needs.
- Landlord Liaison builds strong and trustworthy relationships with local landlords.
- The purpose of these 2 positions is to enhance successful tenancies.
- The Seniors' Service Helper assists with accessing resources and community services, reviewing or creating a budget, planning meals and grocery shopping, downsizing living arrangements and attending appointments and meetings.
- These services specifically designed for seniors help to eliminate isolation and allow them to stay safely in their homes longer.
