Description
Supporting Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people who are seeking employment and their potential employers. Services can be provided in person, virtually or a combination of both.

Provide:
  • job search training
  • resume and cover letter writing assistance
  • labour-market information
  • job placement support, job coaching and advocacy in the workplace for those who may be experiencing communication/cultural barriers
  • message relay between employers and potential employees
  • Interpreting and real-time Note-taking services
  • awareness/accessibility training opportunities to potential employers when hiring/employing deaf, deafened or hard of hearing people
  • access to necessary amplification, communication and alerting technology
Eligibility
Must live within Simcoe County.
