Employment and personal development opportunity for youth residing in Durham Region * youth engage in hands-on learning experiences that emphasize the importance of leadership, teamwork and community engagement * interact with various sectors of police service * summer and winter initiatives provide certification and training including standard first aid CPR training, mental health first aid, leadership training, diversity training, and CALM (Conflict-Anger-Learning-Mediation) training
Eligibility
Reside in Durham Region * currently enrolled in secondary school * returning to secondary or post-secondary school in September * responsible for transportation to and from work locations * legally eligible to work in Canada
