School-to-work transition program
  • offered through Ontario secondary schools
  • students earn cooperative education credits in grades 11 and 12 through work placements in skilled trades
Eligibility
15 years and older
Must have successfully completed a minimum of 14 credits towards their OSSD
Must be enrolled full-time or part-time in a secondary school at a school board
Must be participating in a cooperative education placement in an apprenticeship trade
Application Process
Contact the high school guidance counsellor, co-op education teacher or the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program Coordinator for the local school board
