- Association of bereaved families who have lost a child
- support system to help families cope with the loss of a child
- small groups of 8-10 people meet weekly with two trained bereaved group facilitators for a period of 10-12 weeks
- an opportunity to meet with another bereaved parent involved with the program
- Family Support Nights three times a year
- education, support and opportunity for discussion in an atmosphere of mutual understanding
- leadership training is provided for volunteers (who are bereaved parents) to facilitate group sessions
- grief and bereavement specialists assist in development of programs and training of volunteers
- group support for siblings - children and adolescents
- referral into the community for other support
