Description
The City Clerk's staff provides the following services:
  • administrative support to Council and its Committees, including agendas, minutes, communications, applications and requests. Hold corporate seal and provide corporate signing authority along with the Mayor
  • keep originals of documents, e.g. by-laws, etc
  • receive writs, actions and claims served upon the Municipality
  • conduct municipal elections
  • Division Registrar for deaths and issuer of marriage licenses
  • property acquisitions/sales
