- The Committee provides temporary health devices and financial assistance for veterans and their dependents
- The committee includes representation from Branch 99 of the Royal Canadian Legion, 418 RCAF Wing and ANAF Unit 201
- Funds are raised annually just prior to November 11 with the sale of poppies and wreaths as well as donations from businesses and the general public.
