- Description
- Program is an alternative to formal court proceeding and is also known as a diversion program. Program is post-charge and the referral will be made in lieu of a sentence. Successful completion means that a record of the youth's participation be held for 2 years and limited access to the sentence information of only the Courts, Police Services and Youth Probation Services and the option for the charge to be withdrawn. Non-completion of the program will result in all charges moving forward with sentencing.
