- qualifies graduates for the Ontario College of Teachers certification
- four successive terms, starting in May and ending in August the following year
- for both Primary-Junior (junior kindergarten to grade 6) and Intermediate-Senior (grades 7-12)
- courses include Aboriginal perspectives, balancing Aboriginal-specific and student-centred learning with knowledge of the teaching/learning process, and research on Aboriginal education
- Eligibility
- Concurrent Education students in their final year as well as Consecutive Education teacher candidates
- Suited to both Aboriginal (Status, non-Status, or Métis) and non-Aboriginal students with a university degree who are interested in Aboriginal education
- priority is given to Aboriginal applicants
