COVID-19 Assessment Centre
  • ​The Dryden Regional Health Centre (DRHC) COVID-19 Assessment Centre is available by appointment ONLY to those who have been referred by their physician, Northwestern Health Unit or Health Connect Ontario (formerly Telehealth Ontario)
  • It is recommended you complete the Ministry online Self-Assessment Tool at Ontario.ca
  • Northwestern Health Unit can be reached at 807-468-7109 or the NWHU Hotline 1-866-468-2240, the number for Health Connect Ontario is 8-1-1
  • If you require an appointment, Health Connect Ontario or the Northwestern Health Unit will contact the COVID-19 Assessment Centre to identify your need for an appointment
  • The Assessment Centre will then contact you to schedule the appointment
  • Assessment Centre is located at the Dingwall Medical Clinic building - 40 Goodall St - enter at the first exterior entrance on the left (old Hearing Centre) -- the entrance is marked - do not enter the Dingwall Medical Clinic
  • Walk-ins at the Assessment Centre are strictly prohibited
Individuals with:
* a new or worsening cough and/or fever over 38 degrees C, and
* in the past 14 days have either travelled outside of Canada or been in contact with someone who has a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19, or with someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 who recently travelled outside of Canada, or to an impacted area of Canada
