- Responsible for residential and commercial waste and recycling collection
- Contracts B & M Delivery for residential waste and recyclable collection
- Posts waste and recycling collection schedules online
- Provides household hazardous waste collection on a drop off basis at Public Works yard once every year (usually in September) for disposal of old and unwanted products; acceptable products list posted on website
- Provides a brown paper compost bag collection twice per year (spring and fall) to allow residents to discard yard waste
- Offers compost drop site at landfill

- Must be a taxpayer of the City of Dryden
- Application Process
- Requires residential garbage bags to have Garbage Bag Tags affixed; available at various locations within Dryden
- Recyclables must be contained in Blue Box; available for purchase at Public Works office
- Tipping fees apply if accessing landfill on your own
