- Provides emergency pre-hospital medical care to residents and visitors of Sault Ste Marie and surrounding area
- Provides land ambulance services to the community
- Maintains a fleet of 14 vehicles including ambulances, emergency repsonse vehicles and administrative vehicles
- Assists residents and local healthcare organizations with low priority inter-facility patient movement where an ambulance is the most suitable method of transportation
- Paramedic station at the Regional Emergency Services Complex within city limits
- Paramedic station at Garden River First Nation
- Satellite station at Goulais River Fire Hall

- Individuals experiencing injury or illness
