- Description
- Provides various health benefits to individuals and families with high health costs
Benefits are determined based on need and may include:- basic dental care
- diabetic supplies
- eyeglasses
- hearing aids
- prescription drugs
- surgical supplies and dressings
- transportation for medical appointments
- Eligibility
- Individuals and families who:
- Are between 16 and 65 years of age
- were eligible for Ontario Works in the previous months, or
- are no longer eligible for Ontario Works because they received a payment for loss of income under the 1986-1990 Hepatitis C Settlement Agreement
