- Description
- Operates a public on-reserve school for elementary and junior high school students
- Offers a full curriculum for students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 9; approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education
- Teaches Native language as a subject course
- Provides a daily breakfast program for students
- Offers a school gymnasium with shower facilities, a library/resource centre, a computer room, labs for home economics and industrial arts and a multi-purpose facility
- Provides equipment in each classroom that includes SMART boards, Elmo-Projectors and Chromebooks with student access to iPads and tablets
- Offers cultural and traditional events and outings
- Organizes activities including bake sales, barbeques, dances, camping trips and winter carnival
- Provides on-reserve bus transportation
- Provides special education assistance for students with learning difficulties
- Strives for maximum amount of integration with regular programs
