- The loan is forgiven at 10% each year. The grant is up to $5,000 and repayment is not required if approved.

- Low to moderate income homeowners
- The house must be the sole and principle residence
- The house must be in urgent need of repair to bring it up to a reasonable standard
- Cash and assets must be at or below $20,000 (includes savings accounts and bonds, excludes RRSP/RESP/RDSP)
