- Description
- Provides entrepreneurs with training, business skills development, mentoring from local business leaders and access to funding opportunities to start, grow or buy a small business
- Provides free one-on-one consultation through the Business Centre
- Participants who successfully complete the program are eligible to apply for up to $5000 in provincial grant funding
- Provides access to business workshops on various topics and assistance in the development of a complete business plan
- Eligibility
- Individuals 18 years of age and older interested in starting or expanding their own small business
- Individuals must not be attending school full time
- To qualify for funding of up to $5000, individuals must successfully complete the program and be able to contribute at 25%, in cash or in-kind, of the grant amount
