- Description
- Receives, processes, stores and distributes donated food to city and district agencies that require food, such as food banks, soup kitchens and residential support agencies
- Does not provide food directly to clients
- Develops and implements a coordinated strategy for the delivery of donated food to community organizations throughout the district
- Accesses all food sources available for distribution, including food donations, garden surplus, and donations from community gardens and farms
- Accepts food donations, and offers volunteer opportunities
- Eligibility
- Food banks, soup kitchens, community residential agencies that require food for their clients
