- Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD)
- Ontario Works (OW) and Temporary Care Assistance (TCA)
- The program was introduced to replace the paper drug Eligibility Card used by social assistance clients with their Ontario Health Card in order to access prescription medication under the Ontario Drug Benefit program.
- Once the client's card is swiped the pharmacist will be able to identify the individual is a social assistance recipient

The program provides eligible people with disabilities with:
- Income Support - helps people with disabilities who are in financial need pay for living expenses, like food and housing.
- Employment Supports - helps people with disabilities who can and want to work prepare for and find a job.
Extended Health Benefit If someone does not qualify for ODSP income support due to excess income from other sources, they may qualify for the Extended Health Benefit. It may help with the cost of prescription drugs, basic dental care, vision care, medical supplies, transportation to medical appointments, assistive devices including hearing aids.

Operates as a daytime cooling/warming centre during regular business hours when an extreme heat or cold alert has been issued by Environment Canada.

Employment Support: Services and supports to help clients with disabilities find and keep a job, and advance their careers.
OntarioWorks helps people create a plan to build independence and enhance employment readiness.

- financial assistance for training and employment expenses
Emergency Assistance may be available to members of the community who are not recipients of Ontario Works provided they meet certain eligibility criteria. These benefits include Emergency and discretionary benefits (i.e. basic needs and shelter).
