Street Help / Unit 7 Homeless Services, is a Self-Help organization run primarily by and for persons who are or who have been homeless.
Provides outreach street patrol services to the homeless such as:
- sleeping bags
- back packs
- socks
- seasonal clothing
- Dinner to Go (see details here)
- information on local services for the homeless
Drop-in centre provides:
- computers
- internet
- breakfast
- hot meals
- bottomless coffee & snacks
- safe storage of personal items
- hygiene products when available
- shower facility during agency hours
- advocacy
- referrals to community services
- daily food distribution to homeless individuals
Most staff are persons who are or who have been homeless and offer an environment of peer fellowship with full comprehension of the issues homeless people face on a daily basis

Kent Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society Library & Bookstore (Located next to the McKeough Local History Room offers a historical and genealogical collection of interest to researchers and those tracing their family trees.
All branches of the library operate as a daytime cooling centre during regular business hours when an extreme heat alert as been issued by Environment Canada. See individual sites for hours of operation.

A space that features hands-on access to a variety of electronics, textiles, robotics and more, including two sewing machines, a Taz6 3D printer, vinyl cutter, etc.
3D Printing Services - A 3D printer that is available for jobs up to two hours in length * your file must be sent to the library via website at www.lpl.ca/thelabs
Creativity Lab - Provides the space and resources for creation of all types * allows for individual or group projects * iMacs and PCs available for rent
Media Lab - Provides photographers and videographers with tools including cameras, backdrops and green screens * room is equipped with an iMac that is loaded with software such as Adobe Creative Cloud for recording and editing purposes * room can be booked for up to two hours per day
Memory Lab - This self-serve work station enables users to digitize documents, home videos, slide negatives and audio cassettes * you must bring your own storage device and a large capacity USD drive or cloud storage is strongly recommended * station can be reserved. Reservation length depends on your project. Please speak with staff about how much time you need
Studio - A sound proof room that allows people to record and edit their media * room features a keyboard, microphones, and cables that allows instruments to be hooked into the recording software * iMac equipped with software for every level of experience from GarageBand to Avid Pro Tools and Adobe Creative Cloud * acoustic and electric guitars * room can be booked for up to two hours per day

Accessible Computer Workstations - Adaptive technology computers with software and hardware that can assist people who are blind, deaf, or have low vision or other physical disabilities * software includes screen readers, voice-activated dictation, scan and reading software, screen magnifiers and a Braille translator * hardware includes alternate input devices like trackballs, large key keyboards, ad keyboards with keyguards for people who have motor control limitations
Communication Boards - Allows people with limited communication abilities to point to alphabet, word or picture boards to communicate to library staff * available at all London library locations
