The Settlement Worker in Schools (SWIS) Program assists students who are newcomers to the country, as they acquire English language skills. The Pope Francis Centre provides an alternative learning environment for students who are in need of additional support in order to complete their education. This includes:
- Fresh Start: An alternative to suspension or expulsion
- Jump Start: Supporting students with high absenteeism
- Parent Support: Supporting male and female students with an infant
- Mental Health and Addiction Support: For students living with a mental health issue or an addiction.
Niagara Catholic also provides services to Adult Learners, International Students and secondary school students (online and summer school programs) through the Continuing Education program.

CARE FOR NEWCOMER CHILDREN (COMBINED CARE)
Long term care offered from September through June for parents attending the Centre's LINC/ESL classes. This care is provided to children from the ages of 6 months - 6 years of age.
Short term care is available throughout the year for children from the ages of 6 months - 12 months, whose parents may be attending a workshop or appointment offered here at the NFAMC.
RENTAL SPACE
Offers rooms for rent in the evenings and weekends. Robertson Hall is available for large groups and classrooms for small groups. The Hall has two floors and a full kitchen.

Provides reception, settlement, language skills training and community connecion programs to meet the needs of refugees and immigrants living or in transition in the community of Fort Erie. Services include:
Information and referral to community and social services * assistance with immigration procedures and paperwork, finding housing, health care and child care * assistance with school registrations and language assessments, * help filling out government forms including housing, and identity forms * assistance with transportation and navigating the community (ie where to shop, find a doctor, dentist, library, etc) * access to transitional housing, legal aid, legal services and immigration consultation services * assistance with notarization of original documents and language translation
Refugee Reception -- service located at the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie, provides information and hospitality services for refugee claimants on their day of arrival * assistance with shelter and destination referrals across Ontario and Canada * assistance with family connections * information / orientation to procedures associated with the refugee claim process in Canada.
Supportive counselling -- provides short-term counselling to clients who encounter difficulties with adjusting to life in Canada and assistance in overcoming these challenges.
English Language Instruction -- provides English language classes in partnership with Niagara Catholic District School Board (located at St John's South Campus, 54 Jarvis St)
