Provides food and hygiene items to low-income people and families once every 21 days. ID for every member in the household will be required when placing an order. Please text or call 519-878-3663 to pre-order your food hamper and to register if you are new to our service. Ring bell at back client door for assistance. A family member or friend may pick up your order if necessary.

All food & monetary donations, please drop off at back receiving door, ring bell for assistance. Locked mail box also at back and side of building.

Information and referral to health, housing, and parental support

Individuals and families may be eligible for:

• emergency food kits

Confidential Support Services - Information about prenatal development, one-on-one alternatives counselling and post abortion counselling and support for family members of someone who is experiencing an unexpected pregnancy.

Coordinates and develops basic needs services for low income residents residing in NE London and Argyle area, (N5Y and N5V postal code areas)

Programs include baby food and diaper bank, community clothing cupboard, emergency food cupboard and mobile food bank

Support is also provided through advocacy, referrals, and programming that helps develop skills, promotes self-sufficiency and supports resident engagement

Provides free pregnancy tests * pregnancy support and counseling * material support (clothing, diapers, formula, etc) * peer counseling (adoption, parenting, birth coaching) * mom's support group * dad's support group * adoption services * community referrals * advocacy

COVID19 - During COVID19 for food bank be sure to call ahead to book appointment 519-284-2760 . Staff will prepare hamper to give you at the door. If you are feeling unwell, don't come. Call and alternate arrangements will be made. Food bank. Provides formula and diapers when available. Young Parents Program - a program for adolescents, up to age 24, who are pregnant and/or parenting

Healthy Moms Eating Well for 2 - a prenatal nutrition program for women aged 25 years and older

• services offered - home, virtual or phone meeting; prenatal vitamins; grocery cards to support a healthy diet; meeting with our dietitian; information on prenatal nutrition, labour and delivery, post-partum health; infant feeding and care

School's Cool - a school readiness program offered in the summer to help children ages 3-5 prepare for junior and senior kindergarten

An outreach ministry offering the following programs:

• Community Meal - a free meal offered to anyone in the community in need
• Mom's Baby Cupboard - support mothers and babies by offering free diapers, wipes, creams, formula, baby food and clothing
• Sharing the Warmth - free hats, mitts and scarves are available at a mailbox located outside of St James Church. Winter coats are also available by contacting Janice - text 519-446-2085.

The Baby Depot collects, recycles and distributes a year's worth of gently used baby clothes and essentials to local families in need through a network of community partners. Does not distribute these items directly.
