Women Abuse and Transitional Housing Support Counselling - Counselling for women who have been abused and may need assistance finding housing * legal and financial information * assistance with safety planing * assistance with finding a safe place to live * services are available in St Thomas, Aylmer and West Lorne

Sexual Assault and Transitional Housing Support Counselling - Counselling for women who have been sexually abused either as a child or as an adults * services are available in St Thomas, Aylmer and West Lorne

Supports and challenges men to end their abusive behaviour towards women and children

Some are mandated, as a condition of their probation or parole order, to attend groups, while others do so voluntarily * PAR (Partner Assault Response) program offers hope for men to change and build stronger and more loving families * it gives men an opportunity to learn, grow and change

Offers:

• 12 week program for men who are mandated by the justice system
• 16 week voluntary program for men without current charges

Services to help men eliminate their abusive and violent behaviours in their primary and intimate relationships * public education presentations

Partner Assault Response - 12 week group education and counselling program on domestic violence and non-abusive ways of resolving conflict * victims/partners of the offender provided with support including safety planning, referrals to community resources, and information on offender's progress

Equine Group - In partnership with Heartwood Equine Connections. Two day group workshop where horses are a therapeutic tool to provide emotional healing for women who have experienced violence and trauma

Provides a safe supportive place to stay for women 16 years and over, with or without children

Men Accepting Responsibility to Change Program (MARC) - The Partner Response Program for men is a 12 week psycho-educational program for people who have used violence and abuse towards their intimate partner including a spouse or or partner. Victims/partners of the individual referred into the program are provided with support including safety planning, referrals to community resources, and updates about the group member progress.

Oxford Child Witness Program (7-18 years) - Court preparation and support for children, teens and their families

Children Exposed to Family Violence (0-16 years) - Group that introduces children to the idea of healthy, non-abusive family relationships, helps them understand that they are not to blame for the violence within their home and works to increase self-esteem

Women's Focus Group (13-18 years) - Counselling services to women who have experienced a violent relationship

Teen Dating Violence Forum (13-18 years) - Opportunity for teenage girls to reach out for help

Program designed for children/adolescents who come from a home where their mother has been abused * weekly group offers participants the opportunity to talk about their feelings, learn how to express anger appropriately and improve self-esteem * a group for mothers is held concurrently which helps teach them how to support their child/teen * assistance with transportation and child care for siblings may be available * transportation can be coordinated. Free and confidential.

An accredited community-based children's mental health centre that provides timely access to assessment and treatment services for a wide range of mental health concerns for children and youth up to their 18th birthday. Offers individual, group and family counselling; brief intervention; counselling and therapy; targeted prevention; intensive services. Offers parent and caregiver information and support. Services include Youth Justice, School Based Outreach and Consultation Services for Professionals. Counselling for women who have been victims of abuse - Renascence.

The Huron-Perth Children's Aid Society (H-PCAS) serves children, adolescents and families under the Child and Family Services Act
Services provided by the H-PCAS include:

• Child Protection
• Counselling services to children under 16 years of age and their parents
• Placement of children at risk in individual and group home foster family settings
• Adoption placement of infants and older children who are legally and emotionally free for adoption
• Supervision, finalization of adoptions through the court
