Day Services
Through a fee for service agreement, Bethesda offers opportunities for people to participate in daily activities, virtual recreation and leisure, and a community garden program. Programs are designed to support physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs.

Recreation and Leisure Activities
Primarily for adults with special needs within Bethesda's Residential Services. Through fee for individualized service planning, Bethesda's Recreation and Leisure Services may also provide support to adults with special needs who reside in other residential services within Niagara or have access to Passport Funding and want to purchase individualized day supports.

Programs provide diverse opportunities and support so individuals can participate in Bethesda and community activities. The focus is to build on strengths and encourage new skills and physical capabilities. Such activities can include walking groups, artistic endeavours, music, pet therapy, and various community outings.

Community-based support and rehabilitation services to adults living with the effects of an acquired brain injury * family and support persons are encouraged to participate

Provide training and support services for persons with severe or persistent mental health problems. Training is provided on site in the Garden Cafe and Clerical Units, Transitional and Supported Employment Programs. On the job support is also available.

COVID-19: Open Mon-Fri for two 3-hour shifts each day: 9 am-12 noon (lunch served 11:30 am-12 noon) and 12:30 pm-3:30 pm (lunch served 12:30 pm-1 pm) - call to book a time slot. Evening/weekend program is every Wed from 4 pm-7:30 pm. Open holidays from 9 am-1:30 pm. Call to book both Evening/Weekend and holidays. Some programs available virtually - call for information.

A psychosocial rehabilitation program for people with serious and on-going mental health issues following the clubhouse approach.
