• Health Guidance such as hand-washing, physical distancing and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC).
• Community Wellness and Protection such as online information for children and youth, suggestions for family activities while physical distancing, and Psychological First Aid.

A volunteer based, community organization offering a range of humanitarian and emergency services.

Emergency Management - Provides short-term (up to 72 hours), personal disaster assistance such as food, clothing and lodging in small scale disasters * responds to larger scale disasters within the Niagara Region in cooperation with government and other agencies * delivers Be Ready workshops on how to be prepared to protect yourself and your family in the event of an emergency to interested groups * volunteer opportunities available

Transportation Program - Provides transportation for older adults and people over 18 years of age with disabilities who are unable to drive or travel with conventional transit services for medical appointments, social and educational outings. Transportation available in all 12 local municipalities within Niagara. Long distance travel also possible for medical appointments in Hamilton or Toronto. Drivers use a combination of cars, vans and accessible buses to provide transportation. Phone to register for service or to schedule transportation. Volunteer drivers provide transportation rides to medical appointments, banking, shopping, and social activities. In-town and out-of-town rides are available. Rides are based on availability of volunteers and require (5) business days' notice in advance. Vehicles are not wheelchair accessible.

A pre-booked, door-to-door service for passengers with special needs, who meet the Eligibility Criteria, have applied for the service and been approved for the service by the Eligibility Committee. The service is intended for persons who are unable to use conventional transit due to a disability.

Niagara Specialized Transit is only for those customers who are travelling from one municipality to another for a medical appointment, education or employment purposes. trips for other purposes may be permitted based on the capacity of the service. A Customer may be accompanied by a Companion, Personal Care Attendant and/or Service Animal, if the need is identified on the application form and approved by the Eligibility Committee.

The inter-municipal specialized transit service of The Region of Niagara is considered a share ride service. Other customers may be on board during the trip. The route of travel may be altered so another customer can be accommodated. The vehicle may stop and pick up other riders as it travels to a destination. Shared rides lower the cost of the specialized service by increasing productivity.

Provides door-through-door transportation services for seniors and those with disabilities in the Niagara Region. Offers a personal attendant driver that will assist throughout the outing and can stay as a companion for the duration of the trip. One-way and round-trip options with drop off/ pick up service is also available. Out-of-region medical & airport trips available as requested

Specialized curb-to-curb transportation within the municipal boundaries of Fort Erie is available to those persons that cannot utilize Fort Erie's regular transit service and that meet the Eligibility Criteria.

Non-profit community organization that assists seniors and disabled persons to remain independent and in their homes. Services include:

Glanbrook Community Services provides participants with transportation services to medical appointments, dental appointments, errands, to visit friends, grocery and general shopping.
