Camp-based community partner dedicated to enriching lives through outdoor education and recreation. Provides year-round recreational facilities for group rentals, seasonal camping, children's summer camps, and outdoor education programs for elementary and high school students

A health, fitness and recreation centre for all ages including 2 pools, gymnasium, wellness centre, arcade room, community rooms, and indoor walking track. There is also child-minding on-site while you exercise and summer/PD day camps available. Fully licensed child care programs available off-site

COVID-19: Abides by provincial standards for Covid 19 capacity restrictions in all areas of the centre, including the gymnasium and rental hall. In order to visit the black historical museum, patrons must call ahead at 519-354-5248 to schedule an appointment. Masks mandatory in building at all times. Day camp programs are open Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm. Call centre to sign up.

The Heritage Centre, a significant black history museum run by TJ Brown is located within the WISH Centre which is geographically situated near the end of the underground railroad.

Childcare and day camp programs. Drop in program that provides recreational and educational opportunities. Full day PA Day, March Break and Summer Camps * Children must bring a lunch, snacks are provided.

Offers winter and summer residential camp programs in a Christian environment. Chapel time offered twice a day. Integration of special needs children may be accommodated and will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Direct Financial Assistance - For prescribed equipment (can serve to top up Assistive Devices Program (ADP) support and other funders) such as wheelchairs, braces and communication devices (prior approval required)

Incontinence Supplies Grant Program - For children and youth 3-18 years of age with chronic disabilities (physical or developmental) that result in irreversible incontinence or retention problems lasting longer than six months requiring the use of incontinence supplies * the program is fully funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care

Camping - Summer camp programs for children and families at two accessible camps across Ontario * Camp Merrywood (Perth) and Camp Woodeden (London)

Community based services including referrals to food assistance and visits to those in need.

• conducts home visits and needs assessment and will issue vouchers for basic requirements such as clothing, household goods, furniture, and occasionally beds
• the vouchers are used like cash at the resale stores
• accepts donations of furniture and offers pick up for large items (must schedule)
• will deliver food to those unable to pick up
• operates summer camps and sponsorship for needy children
• visitation and social justice advocacy also for those in hospitals, nursing homes, night shelters, orphanages, prisons, etc.
• accepts holiday food donations also during the holidays

Summer Nature day camp one week for ages 6-9 and one week for ages 10-12. Minimum 13, maximum 22 children.

Pop-up Day Camps:

I Can Summer Camp:

• 2 week indoor/outdoor camp that focusses on healthy mind, body and home
• provides fun fitness activities, life skills, art, mindfulness, nutrition lessons and more

• Provides on-site leadership and overall direction to sports programming, cultural programming, and leisure activities in arenas and outdoor ice rinks, aquatic facilities and community centres
