Connect job seekers and employers throughout the Sarnia-Lambton area. Services are designed to assist with career exploration possibilities and developing skills and confidence. Staff can assist with personalized services to support employment or employee recruitment needs.

Offer employment services to assist in preparing for, obtaining and keeping a job. These services may consist of an employment needs assessment, the development of a Return to Work Plan, individual employment consulting, advice about job loss, retraining and education, job search techniques, labour market information, job placement services, and on-the-job follow up.

Job Retention supports is available when continued employment or advancement is unlikely to succeed without further assistance. Eligible individuals can expect support and mentoring to promote long-term employment based on developing experience, workplace skills, capabilities and confidence.

jobPath is a 6 week series of employment readiness workshops designed to assist with developing employment goals and skills. jobPath provides assistance and coaching through job application process, orientation, basic training and on-going supports to both the employee and the employer.

Employment services for persons with disability related barriers to employment. All persons eligible for Ontario Disability Support Program - Employment Support will be considered for service. Supports include employment planning, job development and job coaching to adults living in Chatham-Kent.

Work-related training and vocational opportunities * services include bake shop and greenhouses * off-site options include lawn care and snow removal * capacity varies with amount of support required.
The program referred to as THE HUB also includes an activity program, open to all Crest supported persons that provides educational, social and fun activities for people, focusing on both their mental and phsyical health.

CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services - Exeter and Goderich provide a range of mental health supports to individuals living in Exeter and southern Huron County including life skills education, linking to resources, advocacy, individual goal setting, personal growth and recovery. The following programs and services are provided at the Exeter location:

• Permanent Supportive Housing (Exeter): Four tenants in safe affordable housing where rent is geared to income. Tenants receive on going support as they gain greater independence
• Supportive Housing: individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Goderich and Exeter. Rent-subsidized apartments provide independent living for tenants. Individuals are supported as they re-integrate into community
• Case Management: staff help individuals develop skills, increase self sufficiency and become more connected with their community CMHA-TVAMS offers community supports with varying levels of intensity and participates in shared care arrangements with other community support provided
• Community Wellness: Provides opportunities for individuals to enhance their life skills through leisure and community engagement. Helps to increase a sense of personal wellness and quality of life
