Camp STiC Together - summer camp for children with Tourette Syndrome, takes place at Camp Maple Leaf in Ennismore

Provides youth in the Peterborough area with the opportunity to build confidence and community through the creation of rock music.

Encourages and assists youth in:

• developing new abilities
• taking risks within a safe and supportive atmosphere
• building communication and teamwork skills
• enhancing confidence and self-esteem
• ultimately having a fun and fulfilling experience.

Programs are primarily targeted towards girls, non-binary and trans individuals. Male allies are welcomed as supporters and behind-the-scenes volunteers

Offers summer day camps with activities including arts and crafts, songs, stories and games

• each week is themed for special interest
• campers can attend for one week, several weeks or all summer
• Junior Summer Discovery Camp for ages 4-6 (must be toilet trained)
• Summer Discovery Camp for ages 7-11
• Volunteer Youth Leaders age 14 or entering Grade 9 can volunteer and qualify for 40 hours of secondary school volunteer credit. Receive leadership training, then spend minimum two weeks in camps of their choice assisting instructors and working with children.
• Discovery camp educators are always Board of Education trained teachers

Offers opportunity to learn skills and develop habits that will nurture a healthy, active lifestyle

• age-appropriate activities and lots of individual choices including swimming, games, crafts and sports
• some locations include canoeing, kayaking trips and special guests.

Arts and nature inspired preschool program

• through music, art, stories, rhythm of the day

Each program typically last 1½ hours. A school field trip visit starts at 9:30am and ends at 2:30pm, and includes two program periods.

Educational program which provides hands-on experiences for youth interested in the intersections of Indigenous and western sciences.

• Hosted by Trent University within the Indigenous Environmental Studies and Sciences Program (IESS), and operates in partnership with the Kawartha World Issues Centre and First People's House of Learning.
• Consists of two distinct but connected programs: Outreach & Education and Oshkwazin Indigenous Youth Leadership Program.
  • Outreach & Education Program for ages 6-12 (school workshops, camp programs, etc.)
  • Oshkwazin Program for Indigenous youth ages 13-17 (school & community workshops, events, etc.)
  • Camp experiences at Trent University and in First Nations communities during the summer months
• All programming is hands-on, experiential and combines both Indigenous knowledge and scientific principles.

Faith based summer day camp for girls and boys

• Facilities include auditoriums, playgrounds, sports fields, picnic shelter, chapel and a 36' x 80' swimming pool
• Camps offer a varied curriculum including chapel time, music, inspiration, team building and speakers
• Bus transportation is available, or parents can drop-off and pick up their children
