Program helps families with reduce food costs to meet the nutritional food needs of their infants and toddlers. Participants can choose from a variety of food and baby care items such as jarred baby food, cereal, diapers, baby wipes, shampoo, and formula.

• one food order of 7-10 days supply of food every twenty-eight days
• diapers, food for infants aged 1 and under and pet food offered when available
• client will receive prepackaged bundle of food

Emergency food pantry service

• 10-14 day supply of food once a month, supply includes fresh produce, non-perishable items, baby needs, pet needs and toiletries

Available by appointment for essential needs such as pregnancy tests, diapers, wipes and formula. Confidential services and resources for the centre include:

• Providing education and information on fetal development, pregnancy, and abortion methods
• Does not refer clients to abortion services
• Offering emotional, spiritual and practical support during and after the pregnancy
• Offering post abortion syndrome information and support including referrals to medical, legal and social agencies
• Providing free pregnancy testing, baby food, maternity and baby clothing (up to 24 months)

• for showers last appointment starts at 2:30pm
• for laundry last appointment starts at 1pm
• runs Mon-Fri only, excluding holidays

Bundle up Barrie Winter Clothing Campaign

• provides donated coats to the homeless and other individuals and families who do not have a warm coat for the winter
• Annual Campaign takes place in October
• donated coats can be dropped off at the Community and Family Services office at the Salvation Army Bayside Mission Centre, 16 Bayfield St, Barrie
• coats are distributed from the Community and Family Services office in October and November

Baby's Closet

• provides emergency assistance to parents with young children
• items such as diapers, formula, baby food, baby wipes, clothing and household items are available

ID Clinic

• Assists low income individuals in obtaining an Ontario Birth Certificate by appointment only

Family Tracing Service

• Provides information for persons wishing to trace missing relatives
• the individual must send the form to Salvation Army Family Tracings Service in Toronto

Accepts donations of non-perishable food items, baby formula, diapers, baby food and usable work boots

Christian organization providing information and emotional support for people facing an unplanned pregnancy or pregnancy related concern, all services free and confidential
Services include:

Trauma-informed wraparound supports and services, including counselling and case management, housing support, health program, parenting and child development supports, and high school program; community education includes speakers, workshops on subjects of interest to young parents, including healthy sexuality, informed decision-making and pregnancy options

Individual counselling and information, advocacy support and systems navigation, and referrals to other services about sexuality, birth control, abortion, adoption, and parenting
