Financial Management Program - Offers financial management services for Ontario Disability and Ontario Works clients who are unable to manage their own financial matters

Newborn Program - An emergency gift layette parcel for newborns leaving hospital. Includes outfit, diapers, wipes, blanket as available. Mothers of newborns receive information about additional help after leaving the hospital.

Referral Services - Referrals to other community programs and services as appropriate

Summer Camp - for children

Provides shelter, education and transitional supports for youth and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless

• Operates a 30-bed emergency and transitional shelter for youth ages 16-24 and emergency housing for homeless families with children of any age
• Shelter workers also assist in accessing emergency resources, housing search, income supports and other related youth needs
• Operates a Food Cupboard for youth living independently and for families who have previously resided at the shelter
• provides monthly access to a food box and clothing cupboard

Christmas hampers available in December. Families get canned food and all the trimmings, a voucher for a turkey at Foodland and gifts for any child under 16 years old. In order to receive a Christmas Hamper it is necessary to complete a application form which can be done at the Omemee Coronation Hall

The local churches (Trinity United & Bethel United) donate gifts - they have Angel Trees with descriptions of children and their interests and parishioners choose children to buy presents for.

The Dunsford Food Bank serves area residents in times of need.

• Donations of food and money are received from Dunsford United Church, Dunsford Anglican Church, Dunsford Lions Club, Older Adults, North Emily Institute, Herons Landing and individuals from the community at large.

COVID-19: Clients are asked to wait outside at the side of the building and are given pre-bagged food. In an effort to ensure safety for all, this year, rather than having a toy box collection, Walmart gift cards will be given to families with children, 15 years of age or under, allowing parents to make their own purchases. During Christmas: Adults receive gift cards from food stores and other supporting businesses in Bobcaygeon.
