The Transitional Housing program provides

• provides women-centered, trauma responsive programming in a residential setting

A non-profit, community residential facility (CRF) contracted to provide residential services to federally incarcerated male offenders and are on conditional release

• Contributes to the protection of society by facilitating the safe reintegration of offenders in the community through effective risk management, respecting the principle of least restrictive measures and the rule of law, and by providing appropriate support and resources.

Facilitates community reintegration for people living with mental illness or concurrent disorders by offering housing supports in order to prevent homelessness

Low-cost transitional housing with support

• 43 private rooms with shared washrooms and kitchen facilities
• four of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms
• rooms come furnished with a closet, bed frame and small fridge
• clients provide their own mattress, bed sheets, towels, cooking utensils, and groceries

University residence-style affordable housing rented on monthly basis:

• access to 24-hour on-site crisis support and referral services
• individual bar-size refrigerator and access to shared kitchen
• shared washrroms limited private bathrooms available

Supportive transitional housing program for youth

Provides:

• safe, supportive housing
• group and individual life skills workshops
• development of Individual Goal Plan

Emergency shelter with a capacity of 110 beds that provides basic needs such as:

• meals
• showers
• laundry services
• safe needle injection supplies
• medication storage

Medical professionals, nurses, and mental health professionals serve and advocate for clients and act as a resource for the staff. Case Managers and Diversion Workers assist clients with transitioning out of the shelter environment.

Clients can book in after 7 pm and can reconfirm their beds the following day if need be between 3:30 pm-6 pm.

• offered in partnership with La Présence (women's shelter) and Harmony House (second stage housing)

Program for Francophone children victims/witnesses of family violence and support to their mothers (French):

• provides early intervention services to child witnesses of women abuse and support to their mothers

• 12-week educational counselling program for persons who have been abusive to their intimate partners

Francophone Women Program:

• for women 50 and over who have experienced partner assault
