The shelter provides services en francais to women whose first or preferred language is French.
Counselors provide crisis counselling both in person and via the telephone for women who have experienced intimate partner violence or sexual abuse 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Child residents receive counselling and support as well as age-appropriate activities through our Child Support Program.
Counselling, legal advocacy and accompaniment, assistance with finding and maintaining housing, assistance with subsidized housing and income support programs such as Ontario Works are available to shelter residents and on an outreach basis to women living in the community.
All services maintain confidentiality of client information.
Support is available for alternate care for pets and can be accessed through shelter staff.
