Developmental Support Services for Children including:

Provides a program focused on assisting on-reserve families to provide the best health and social development for their young children

• Strives to meet the emotional, social, health, nutritional and psychological needs of the child
• Offers programs that will culturally connect and spiritually root children in the traditional language and history of family, community and Nation
• Involves parents, elders and community members as much as possible

Provides the following:

• A variety of school readiness programs such as learning shapes and numbers, building vocabulary and reading, and School's Cool which introduces children to school and bus routines
• Active Parenting Program, which provides support and information about parenting topics
• Family drop-in times

Centres are places for families and their children up to six years old to meet, share, play and find friendly support, resources and information. EarlyON Centre facilitators provide fun, interactive activities for caregivers and children to enjoy together.

Workshops offered on family and parenting issues, along with field trips and special event celebrations. Nutritious snacks are provided.
