• Enhanced Support Independent Living Program in Sundridge
• Supported Independent Living Program provides regular support to individuals living on their own in the community.
• Community Work Experience provides employment supports and guidance including job training, job placement and assessment. Individuals supported by Almaguin Highlands may be hired to do basic property maintenance such as grass cutting, raking and simple gardening, or snow shoveling
• Community Participation Program- helps individuals access recreational and leisure opportunities within their communities. Also provides assistance in the areas of personal management, social development, household management, basic academic skills, service and community awareness
• Passport Program- Administration of Passport Funds, taking care of all paperwork and recouping directly from the Passport program AHCL can aid in navigating these funds in two ways: Either by brokering services from outside qualified contract workers or by directly providing services through internal resource. This program helps adults access recreational activities within their communities and provides additional respite to care givers.
• Family Support Services Program provides assistance to families with a child under age 18 who has intellectual disabilities. Information on developmental delays, community resources, support counselling, government programs. Referral to appropriate resources. Assistance with applications and advocacy. Financial assistance

Serves a broad range of clients, from those looking to optimize their mental health performance or brain functioning, to those recovering from serious injury or loss, such as brain injury, chronic pain, or the aftermath of trauma.
Works with clients injured in motor vehicle accidents, at work, or who have suffered military duty trauma.
Offers targeted assessments, treatment, and consultations in a variety of sectors including rehabilitation, psychoeducational services, neuropsychology, developmental services, and general mental health.
Aids clients in navigating insurance systems.
Service is offered in the offices in Huntsville and North Bay, in the community, in client's homes, through mobile clinics and by video via eRehabilitation™.

Leading Into New Careers (LINC) is an approved employment support provider through Ontario Disability Support Program to connect people with employment barriers to the type of employment that best suits them. Employment preparation is dependent on individual need and includes: job search, resume and cover letter development, specific skill development and interview preparation.

Job Matching - Job matching compares the requirements listed in a job description with the skills of the job seeker. If requested, the employer can receive a list of potential candidates for the position.

Job Development - Job development helps the employer identify staffing requirements that are not being met. A position can be created to address this, which in turn creates a high level of productivity by staff.

Job Coaching - Job coaching helps employees learn the duties of a new job with the use of a job coach at no cost to the employer. This can take place in the work environment our outside it, depending on the needs of the employer and employee.

Employment Services

• Advances the training and employment options within the community for adults with developmental disabilities
• Job coaches assist with obtaining employment and provide one to one assistance while the individual learns the tasks required on the job site

Adult Respite Services

• Adult respite is available to families who care for individuals 18 and over with a developmental disability by assisting them to arrange for a short break from the full time responsibility of care giving. May take place in or out of the home.

Passport Services

• Provides individually tailored supports, matched to goals and needs to individuals who receive Passport funding through the Ministry of Community and Social Services.
• Helps families to coordinating the desired supports and services, recruiting, hiring and supervising trained professional and managing the financial and administrative responsibilities.
