- Enhanced Support Independent Living Program in Sundridge
- Supported Independent Living Program provides regular support to individuals living on their own in the community.
- Community Work Experience provides employment supports and guidance including job training, job placement and assessment. Individuals supported by Almaguin Highlands may be hired to do basic property maintenance such as grass cutting, raking and simple gardening, or snow shoveling
- Community Participation Program- helps individuals access recreational and leisure opportunities within their communities. Also provides assistance in the areas of personal management, social development, household management, basic academic skills, service and community awareness
- Passport Program- Administration of Passport Funds, taking care of all paperwork and recouping directly from the Passport program AHCL can aid in navigating these funds in two ways: Either by brokering services from outside qualified contract workers or by directly providing services through internal resource. This program helps adults access recreational activities within their communities and provides additional respite to care givers.
- Family Support Services Program provides assistance to families with a child under age 18 who has intellectual disabilities. Job Coaching - Job coaching helps employees learn the duties of a new job with the use of a job coach at no cost to the employer. This can take place in the work environment our outside it, depending on the needs of the employer and employee.
