Note: The loan is 10% of the purchase price of a home. There is no requirement for repayment if the home remains the sole and principle residence for 20 years.

Works to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for lower-income families. Works with community partners to build affordable houses and provide interest-free mortgages to families who would otherwise not be able to purchase their own homes.

Operates ReStores that are located throughout the region are staffed with paid employees as well as volunteers. They accept and sell new and gently used donations of building materials, furnishings and home decor, as well as working and non-working appliances, scrap metal, and batteries. Sales of merchandise help to cover local administrative costs and support the building of homes and other Habitat for Humanity projects in the various communities in the affiliate territory.

• Consists of new, affordable rental units, home ownership loans and repair funding
