The Northern Airport Service makes 2 return trip to Toronto's Lester B Pearson International Airport daily departing from North Bay (3 hours one way). Prepayment and reservations are required. The shuttle stops include Huntsville, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Port Sydney. Check website for a complete list of pick up locations and times in each of the town.

Responsible for processing Non-Insured Health Service claims for community and Band members

• Submits medical appointment travel, mileage, meal and accommodation requests on behalf of individual
• Assists with making travel arrangements for long distance medical appointments
• Assists eligible clients with local medical trips to North Bay, Sturgeon Falls and Sudbury
• Maintains client documentation, receipts and related information

Provides nursing assessments and nursing care for all ages including:

Assists seniors with transportation to medical appointments. Will travel to Toronto.

Registered practical nurse who provides private nursing for clients in their home.

Services include, but not limited to:

• foot care
• palliative care
• medication monitoring
• wound care
• transportation to medical appointments. Will travel to Barrie, Newmarket and Toronto or as needed
• errand running/grocery shopping, meal planning and prep

• Homemaker services and Meals on Wheels program for seniors living in the community
• assistance setting up volunteer transportation to medical appointments
• community liaison for Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program through Health Canada (NIHB provides status Indians with medical coverage for a variety health services not covered under OHIP)
• information and referrals to counselling services, shelter's, children services, anger management courses and more
• various programs and events through out the year (ex. yoga, shopping trips, sporting events, Christmas dinners)
