HOT MEALS: Delivered 5 days/week by volunteers
FROZEN MEALS: Delivered once/week based on menu order
FROZEN QUIK PAKS: Entrees with soups or desserts which may be delivered to hospital discharged persons requiring meals for the weekend or newly admitted eligible persons requiring frozen meals outside of the regular frozen delivery schedule.
LUNCHOUT PROGRAM: Twice monthly luncheon program promoting social interaction, recreation and/or educational activities for Seniors 55+ in accessible dining sites in St Catharines. Transportation is available for those who qualify.
Choice of nutritious hot or frozen meals delivered to client's home by friendly volunteers. Hot meals are available Mondays to Fridays (choice of days) over the noon hour. Frozen meals are selected from a rotating menu and delivered once per week. CSSN staff work closely with client to make nutritional accommodations when necessary. |
Meals are available by delivery in St Catharines by the Meals on Wheels office or for pick up at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village.
Hot meals are prepared by 12 Carrots Catering and frozen meals are prepared at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village, St Catharines.

Social gathering with a meal and activities provided at a central location
Hot meals delivered five days per week
Non-emergency transportation to local medical appointments, shopping and social activities
Referrals to local services such as snow removal, yard work, window washing, house cleaning, grocery shopping, and minor repairs
Regular volunteer visits to seniors and people with disabilities who live alone, to provide companionship and reassurance
Regular security phone calls to check on the health and safety of people who live alone
Medical alert system
Companionship, respite care, and emotional support to people and their family/caregivers dealing with a life-threatening illness
Peer support and discussion for caregivers, including family and friends
Participants receive a meal served in a group setting that provides an opportunity for socializing. Developed for older adults and adults with disabilities who would like to get out of the house more. Transportation is available for a fee.
Program provides a variety of activities and programs to promote enjoyment and well being for older adults and retirees. Offering bingo, euchre and more. Also, fitness and strength training, speaker events on topics relevant to seniors and pot luck lunches
Contact for details.Provides deliveries of food to applicants homes once per month. The program is a community-supported project that completely dependent on donations of cash and non-perishable foods. Home delivery only.

- coordinates on site summer barbecues and community dinners at subsidized housing sites
- gives the participants opportunities to get to know each other, moving them from loneliness to engagement
Camp Dakota
- an outreach program that serves children and youth who live in subsidized, low income housing communities
- a summer day camp program run in Halton Region and 5 sites in Toronto
- activities include basketball, field hockey, wide games - capture the flag & prisoners base, track and field, soccer, frisbee, hip hop dance, crafts and story time
- all programs are provided at no cost to the camper or the family

Healing Wheelz
- the bike doctor (Phil Carver) makes house calls and does on site bike clinics to do bike repairs so no kid is without a bike
- if it can't be repaired on site, he'll take it to the shop
- for those who want to learn how, he will provide training to become a bike doctor
Father's House Cafe
- held every Mon evening from 5 pm-9 pm
- a coffee house format, where the atmosphere is warm and inviting, refreshments are served, personal stories and experiences are shared, encouragement is given, prayer is available and the unconditional love of God dispensed

- program helps neighbours living in poverty, connect to community resources through advocacy and referral
