Acton and Georgetown Youth Centres are open for in-person programming Mon to Fri from 3 pm-7:30 pm for youth ages 12-24. The Youth Centres provided recreation-based youth drop-in programming, supervised by Town trained staff that includes a lounge, gym, cooking, access to resources and more

ECLYPSE After School Program

• free program providing an opportunity to develop and learn in a fun, safe, secure, and familiar school-based environment
• includes physical activity, healthy eating and nutrition, and wellness/ life skills development

Provides an environment where youth and community organizations work as a team to complete their goals:

• promote good citizenship and develop strategies to ensure it is maintained
• encourage and provide mentoring and educational support for underachievers and young people with learning difficulties
• mediation and support for families and/or individuals who are, or become, dysfunctional for various reasons
• stimulate critical and creative thinking
• advise and give practical support to young people who suffer adversely from exclusion and to help promote their self-esteem to its highest potential

A drop-in and counselling program providing intervention, education, and prevention for marginalized youth and youth at risk. Programs include structured skill-building and casual drop-in. Programs are informed by a Christian faith perspective. A Youth Council discusses, organizes, and makes decisions about what happens at the centre.

Programs offered include: babysitting courses, workshops, peer tutoring, movie nights, board game nights, physical activities, LGBTQ2S+ socials.

Central access point that assists youth to connect with community services and provides needed supports. Services include:

• life skills workshops
• access to outreach workers for food, clothes, affordable housing listings, employment, addictions support, life concerns
• access to mental health clinicians and nurse practitioner for medical care and treatment, assessments and diagnostic testing (pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections etc), mental health assessments, specialist referrals, birth control, pregnancy care or parenting support, and any health concerns

South Etobicoke Youth Space - youth-led, youth-run group * organize events to showcase youth talents, creativity and ideas * host workshops on leadership, skills development, teamwork, youth issues

Develops safe mentoring relationships with youth at risk and/or youth involved in crime by offering programs that develop hope, purpose, and skills to support personal success. Provides transportation, meals, and access to recreation opportunities.

Intensive one-on-one mentoring which provides youth with an opportunity to participate in structured activities and find support and camaraderie among their peers. Through this program homework help, school supplies, snacks, computer and printer access, and recreational activities are provided.

Supports women and families by addressing household needs such as food security and hygiene needs

• Youth in Action promotes healthy lifestyle and cross cultural integration through sports
• Youth In Arts offers visual arts, digital design and video production workshops

Sankofa

• group of programs for youth age 13-29 years to support the healthy development of newcomer, out-of-status, LGBTQ, racialized and the underserved
• settlement services, community engagement, environmental stewardship, nutrition and health, self-defence
• Global Roots Garden -- intergenerational urban farming program that brings newcomer youth and seniors together to learn and practice gardening, growing food and healthy cooking; snacks and TTC tokens available
• Newcomer Club: after school program facilitating integration of newcomer students at Etobicoke Collegiate; includes activities such as team building, goal setting; snack provided

ARTegration

• after-school program for newcomer children ages 6-12 years that helps them integrate to their new communities
• art activities, homework help, English literacy enrichment, healthy lifestyle choices, leadership and forming a sense of civic pride

Mabelle After-School Program

• for children ages 6-13 years living in the Toronto Community Housing community of Mabelle
• indoor and outdoor recreational activities, homework help, nutrition education, and health education; snack provided

Skills for Youth Success (SYS)

• pre-employment program designed to teach youth ages 15-29 years how to market themselves in today's digital world
• instruction on building a professional digital profile, creating new media based resumes, developing networking skills, and exploring careers through networking events
