A charitable, non-profit, multi-service agency that serves the needs of families, children, youth, seniors and individuals living in poverty.

Program assists seniors who are homeless or at risk of homelessness find safe, sustainable housing and assists to identify services that result in faster housing placement and more stabilized housing. Ongoing case management is offered to individuals for up to 12 months after they have been housed.

Resolves disputes between residential landlords and tenants and eviction applications filed by non-profit housing co-operatives. This service is for tenants only. If someone needs help with a landlord and tenant dispute, legal staff from Legal Aid Ontario are available to provide information and guidance on hearing days.

During COVID-19 Hamilton tenant by-law complaints can be submitted online. They can also be submitted through phone or e-mail. All in person service counters closed until further notice.
