For over 50 years, St. Leonard's Community Services, London and Region has been dedicated to a community where everyone feels safe, valued and supported. St Leonard's provides a range of services including youth and adult community programs, school-based youth programs, and adult residential programs all with a goal of assisting persons in conflict, or at risk of conflict, with the justice system, and all within a restorative practices framework

Adult Community Programs -

• Offers a number of community-based programs for adults who may be involved in the justice system, who are dealing with mental health challenges, who are experiencing challenges with housing, or who may have developmental challenges and require support to live independently
  
  Adult Residential Programs - Offers short- and long-term adult residential programs tailored to the unique needs of men and women * Community Residential Facilities (CRFs, also known as half-way houses) provide a chance for people to make the transition from a correctional facility to the community * for the highest degree of safety and respect for our residents and our community people must follow well-defined rules and guidelines
  
  Youth Community Programs - Youth community programs are offered to youth on probation or those who may be struggling with homelessness
  
  Youth Diversion and School-Based Programs - Programs support the best possible outcomes for youth related to conflict resolution, justice involvement, educational programs for youth that have been expelled or suspended and peer mediation. School-based services help establish links between students and the community.

Job Skills and Leadership Training - Provides youth with training opportunities, work experience and skill development through experiential learning within the Club's facility and community partnerships * grades 9-12 programs available * low or no cost training and certificates also available

Supper Club - Hot, nutritious meal provided to children and youths attending evening programs during the school year

Teen Zone - Programming for teens including homework help, computers, access to internet, games, music and other activities * access to sports, gym, rock climbing, swimming pool, weight room * leadership activities, out trips, and specialty clubs

Volunteers - Volunteer opportunities for youth and adults * volunteers assist with other programs in recreation, nutrition, social programs, and creative and digital arts * must attend orientation and obtain a vulnerable sector check (18 years and older) after speaking to the staff

Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program - Prenatal and postnatal support for at-risk pregnant Aboriginal women and babies up to six months of age * holistic and culturally sensitive programming

Community Connections - Provide newcomers with a safe space to integrate while helping feel engaged, welcomed, and independent.

Joseph's House - Provides temporary accommodation for newly arrived refugee claimants * residents usually stay an average of one and a half months

Language Assessment and Referral Services (LARS) - Provides immigrants with English or French langauge assessments for government funded programs * services are offered at no cost to eligible clients.

Settlement Services - Orientation services provide information to newcomers (Permanent Residents and Convention Refugees) on government programs and services, community and social services, education, immigration, housing, employment, and community connections. Our services include:

• Needs Assessments
• Personalized, self-directed assessments are conducted to assist newcomers and identify their needs, barriers, and strengths
• Settlement Plans & Goals - based on a newcomer's initial needs assessment, personalized settlement plans are created with short-term and long-term goals
• One-on-one supports are available to all newcomers through Newcomer Settlement Advisors who help guide, inform, and equip individuals and families with the information, assistance, and resources they need to settle into life in Canada.
