Mental Health Crisis Response for Abused Women - 24 hour specialized crisis intervention for women who have been abused and are experiencing a mental health crisis, by phone or in person

Child Counselling - Counselling to help children heal from the trauma of experiencing their mother's abuse * safety planning * services are available in St Thomas, Aylmer and West Lorne

Prevention by Education - On-site training and information for services and agencies, community and faith groups, workplaces and schools * Elementary School Healthy Relationships Program provides school-based counselling information and training services to elementary school students, teachers and principals

Family Court Support Worker Program - information on the family court process * assistance in preparing for family court proceedings (documenting history of abuse, accessing Legal Aid) * referral to specialized services and supports in the community * safety planning * court accompaniment to proceedings when appropriate

Women Abuse and Transitional Housing Support Counselling - Counselling for women who have been abused and may need assistance finding housing * legal and financial information * assistance with safety planing * assistance with finding a safe place to live * services are available in St Thomas, Aylmer and West Lorne

Program designed for children/adolescents who come from a home where their mother has been abused * weekly group offers participants the opportunity to talk about their feelings, learn how to express anger appropriately and improve self-esteem * a group for mothers is held concurrently which helps teach them how to support their child/teen * assistance with transportation and child care for siblings may be available * transportation can be coordinated. Free and confidential.

An accredited community-based children's mental health centre that provides timely access to assessment and treatment services for a wide range of mental health concerns for children and youth up to their 18th birthday. Offers individual, group and family counselling; brief intervention; counselling and therapy; targeted prevention; intensive services. Offers parent and caregiver information and support. Services include Youth Justice, School Based Outreach and Consultation Services for Professionals. Counselling for women who have been victims of abuse - Renascence.

Provides confidential counselling services and therapy groups to adult women (aged 16 years or older) who have been recently sexually assaulted or who have experienced childhood sexual abuse or trauma

Open for counselling and supports by phone, virtually and in person. Call office for intake.
Non-profit, community based, family service agency that supports, strengthens and enriches individual, couple and family life. Provides counselling, support, advocacy and educational services. Volunteer board of directors

Services for women who have recently experienced sexual assault and/or historical sexual assault/abuse

Recent sexual assault services:

• 24-hour crisis response, including accompaniment to hospital and or/police station
• priority counselling with the Sexual Assault/Abuse Therapist
• accompaniment and support for court

Historical Sexual Assault/Abuse services:

• ongoing individual counselling
• group counselling when available
• accompaniment and support for court

Short and longer-term counselling is available

Provides a safe supportive place to stay for women 16 years and over, with or without children

SADVTC is 24/7 on call team of forensic nurses and social workers who respond to the needs of individuals who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking. Emergency and short-term follow up care is also offered to those accessing the team.

Support line is a resource for anyone who has experienced sexual violence as a child or adult, and their friends and families

• Provide emotional support and intervention, options, information, referrals, as well as advocacy and accompaniments
• Phone support is available in more than 200 languages through an interpreter service

Group and one on one counselling, advocacy and accompaniment, and a 24-hour support line for survivors of sexual violence. Male Allies Program and Public Education department work to prevent sexual violence.
