Offering food hamper deliveries once a month

Meals On Wheels supplies hot and frozen meals for a minimal fee to residents to help them live independently in their own homes.

Home-cooked healthy meal support for senior shut-ins, folks recovering from surgery, and bereavement support. Food program is designed to help alleviate the stress of shopping, prepping, and cooking when a person or family is struggling with other emergency issues.

Note: Intended for one-time offering of 5 home-cooked meals

Monthly emergency food hampers through the Community Pantry program, a mobile food market that travels to various neighborhoods and offers local fresh fruits/vegetables to everyone for a minimum subsidized fee of $5. The cost is $10 and anything over $10 helps subsidize the program. The food bank also has a variety of free wellness programs for adults and children/youth.

• neighbourhood summer market, emergency food pantry (call ahead)
• seasonal clothing drives and Goodwill clothing vouchers
• year round tax filing assistance
• advocacy with community agencies and programs

Organize various community building annual events such as the Village Fall Fair (Sep), Winterfest (Feb), and smaller events such as family games nights, pumpkin carving and youth car wash.

Work groups and committees established as needed. Volunteers always welcome to assist with planning and implementing youth and children's programs, events and other neighbourhood development initiatives.

Offers health services and a variety of allied health services available to clinically rostered clients, including counselling and social work, access to registered dietitians and addictions counselling.

Also offers EarlyON Child and Family Centre Programs, various programs open to community members in their priority population, such as: Parent Outreach Programs, Specialized Outreach Services, and a wide variety of healthy living programs:

WE Breastfeed: peer-led support for breastfeeding parents

Chronic Pain Programs: peer-led support groups, and self-management programs for people living with chronic pain

Mindfulness: meet each day more mindfully with greater intention and awareness

Post Partum Mood Disorder Support Group: personalized support and a weekly mother's support group with child care

ID Clinic: assistance with applications for new and replacement Canadian birth certificates, or Ontario Health Card replacement

Groceries from the SEED: nonprofit, online sliding scale grocery store, open to all, visit The Seed Guelph

Garden Fresh Box: nonprofit, fresh produce buying service to help provide affordable access to fresh fruit and vegetables. See Garden Fresh Box

Fitness Programs: various yoga, Zumba and wellness classes offered online and throughout the community

English Conversation Circle: informal groups offering newcomers a chance to practice and gain confidence in speaking English

In an effort to combat hunger and poverty on campus and in the greater Guelph community, the Guelph Student FoodBank provides undergraduate and graduate University of Guelph students access to emergency food, anti-poverty resources, and referrals to other food security, anti-poverty and financial assistance groups.

Licensed 80 bed long-term care home including resident care wings, activity areas and dining rooms Knollcrest offers: 24 hour Nursing, meals, Medical Director, on site Physio, Dietician services, Mobility Bus Service, Activation and Restorative Care programs, on site greenhouse, non-denominational Church Service on site, Music Therapy available, on site Lab service. Visiting Programs - Volunteer visitors are matched one to one with seniors and adults with disabilities to provide companionship and support (Listowel); Palliative Care Volunteer Program(Perth East & Perth West)

Adult Day Programs - social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for older adults in a group setting for part of the day that helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care

Transportation: Volunteer and Accessible transportation services for seniors and adults with disabilities in North Perth

Volunteer-based organization that delivers meals to seniors and people with health issues twice per week

Groceries for delivery or pickup. Produce and general grocery items available. Order online by filling in form. $10.30/order delivery fee in Stratford through Blue Heron. Pickup at store at time provided. Customer will be called to confirm order, provided pickup time and to make credit card payment. Credit card payments can be made by calling 519-271-0466. Grocery store offering home delivery, if item is not available, will call to suggest a substitute. Service is not just for seniors but anyone who is house-bound. Delivery within Stratford city limits.
