HOBSCOTCH (Home-Based Self-Management & Cognitive Training Changes Lives)

• Addresses memory and attention issues common for people living with epilepsy
• Eight sessions designed to help people living with epilepsy learn new strategies to improve memory and attention
• Individual program led by a program staff member and requires a time commitment of eight weeks

Seniors Helping Seniors

• Educates seniors and caregivers about epilepsy and how to recognize seizure symptoms
• Engages seniors in general as volunteers to help them stay engaged and active in their communities

Sunny Days Camp

• Weekly day camp for children living with epilepsy and their siblings aged 5-14 years

The Epilepsy Classroom

• The Epilepsy Classroom caters to the individual learning and social-emotional needs of children who have intractable Epilepsy, that is, ongoing seizure activity despite maximal medical treatment, as well as children who have recently undergone brain surgery for intractable Epilepsy
• The classroom is an initiative of The Centre for Brain & Mental Health at The Hospital for Sick Children
• It is a Section 23 classroom with the Ministry of Education of Ontario

A social and recreational group for LGBTQ2+ youth ages 12-18. This group provides facilitated support and social opportunities for youth.

SADVTC is 24/7 on call team of forensic nurses and social workers who respond to the needs of individuals who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking. Emergency and short-term follow up care is also offered to those accessing the team.
