A free drop-in centre for youth 6-12 years and teens 13-16 years
Mindful Masters
- works with youth, teens and community partners to ensure the provision of youth/teens programs and events which promote emotional and social well-being and which address identified needs
- some of these programs and events are: babysitting course, home alone, online safety, dances, seasonal activities, etc
Mindful Masters
- this program provides easy strategies to help children, aged 9 to 12, focus their attention, improve on self-regulation, build resiliency and develop a positive mindset
- every Tuesday for 8 weeks | 6 pm - 7:30 pm
- this program teaches parents and caregivers of children ages 4 to 9 to recognize when children are stressed and teach them ways to cope
- learn to help your children develop healthy strategies which will help them to adapt, be resourceful, feel confident and become resilient
- every Thursday for 3 Weeks | 6 pm - 8 pm
- this workshop will teach life skills to youth ages 10-14
- participants will learn simple skills to be healthy, happy, and helpful through physical activity, healthy eating, self-care, and contributing to the community
