Senior Housing: for those who are 65 years of age or older who must apply directly to the Social Housing Registry Program
Secondary Suites Program: forgivable loans for qualified households for municipal fee rebates and/or renovation funding
Home Ownership Program: down payment assistance for qualified persons
Kingston-Frontenac Renovates Program: grants and forgivable loans for home repairs for qualified persons
Capital Investment Program: capital funding in the form of a forgivable loan in exchange for the development of affordable housing
Housing & Homelessness Services System: Housing First approach is practiced locally and includes the following programs: Prevention/Diversion Programs; Housing First/Rapid Re-Housing Program; Emergency Shelters and Homelessness Prevention Fund
Homelessness Prevention Fund: provides funding to low income households (not in receipt of social assistance) which are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to prevent homelessness
Emergency Shelter Services: short term emergency shelter for homeless persons at four locations in the City
