Financial assistance of up to $300 per year for women who are victims of vioelnce, to help with:
- confidential address
- basic needs and all services are free and confidential
- supportive counselling, safety planning, referrals and advocacy for health and legal issues
- Child & Youth Counselors provide parental support and specialized age-appropriate programming
- culturally appropriate counselling for Indigenous women
- individual and group counselling for children and youth who have been exposed to violence
- court support and access to funds for safety needs and legal assistance
- personal safety planning including a cell phone
- Rent geared to income
- Programming and supportive counselling
- Fully furnished units available for women and their children
- Must be connected with KIH services to apply

Women's Resources provides emergency shelter, support and referral for abused women, those identifying as women, and their children in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Outreach appointments can be conducted in person or virtual. All current COVID protocols are in place.
