Opération Nutrition+:
- Families pay $15 a month for a green-box containing fruits and vegetables
- the value of the green-box is approximately $75-85
- items added to the box based on family size
- additional items include bread, cheese, yogurt and milk to allow families to prepare lunches for their school-aged children
- powdered milk, cereal, and baby food, diapers, infant clothing will be offered to families with infants

- Families in need can receive non-perishable items
- they must make an appointment and visit the office to do so

Program designed to help reduce cardiovascular risk factors
A full evaluation of risk factors is done at the beginning and at the end of the three month program during which a mentor will call or email, at a chosen frequency, to monitor and provide information on exercise, nutrition, smoking cessation (if needed) and stress management
- a mentor will provide personalized, confidential and free intervention plan to achieve a better heart healthy lifestyle
