Provides free in-home support for mothers with babies under 6 months of age, feeling overwhelmed or who are at risk of postpartum depression. A weekly visit from a trained volunteer provides practical support, social interaction, and time for self-care.

An intensive, evidence-based prenatal and infancy home visitation program for young, first time parents. This voluntary, free service is provided by public health nurses, beginning early in pregnancy (before 28 weeks gestation), and continuing until the child's second birthday. Goals include improving pregnancy outcomes, improving child health and development, and improving parents' self-sufficiency. Nurses provide support and education on health, child development, parenting issues, life goals and access to community resources.

Public health nurses are available to visit agencies and organizations, to further explain the program and the referral process.

Public health nurses and family home visitors provide prevention, early intervention, and prenatal support to at-risk families. Focus is on healthy child development and parenting skills. Services include:

Provides comprehensive and accessible maternity care using a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. Women attend the clinic for prenatal visits and attend St Joseph's Hospital for delivery by Maternity Centre doctors on call. Also offers support and care in the first six weeks after your baby is born. Services include:

Offers pregnancy, adoption and parenting support through a child-centred approach.
Dedicated to building and supporting healthy family relationships in an inclusive, non-judgmental environment.

The Hamilton Street Health Clinics are operating during COVID-19 with safety restrictions and a limited capacity.

Provide services to those in Hamilton that are street involved to help reduce barriers preventing them from accessing important health care services.

Family-centred prenatal and postnatal care for home or hospital births, from practitioners with privileges at local Hamilton Hospitals. Postpartum support includes breast feeding help.

Provides parents with informed support before, during, and after the birthing process. Services include the Baby-Friendly Initiative, the Birthing Unit, the Breastfeeding and Newborn Assessment Clinic (BANA), the Mother Baby Unit, and the Special Care Nursery. School programs serves pregnant and/or parenting young women and their infants. Program consists of 3 Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board teachers and a Program Liaison. Together they work toward ensuring our young moms achieve as many credits as possible, while continuing to build on their parenting skills, manage their finances, connect with community supports like Public Health, and more.The Infant Playtime Plus (IPP) serves infants 6 weeks to 24 months while mothers attend an on-site school program.

Educational program for new mothers including prenatal/postnatal program focusing on healthy interactions between babies and mothers with follow-ups concerning nutrition and postnatal home visits. Promotes healthy behaviours during pregnancy, prepares mothers for delivery, teaches about breastfeeding. Postnatal depression outreach, care for mothers and babies following the birth.

Provides primary care to low-risk clients and their newborns throughout pregnancy, labour and birth, and the first six weeks following delivery (referred to as postpartum and newborn care). Family-centred prenatal and postnatal care for home or hospital births, from practitioners with privileges at McMaster and St. Joseph's hospitals.

Provides care for individuals pre-pregnancy, during pregnancy, labour, and delivery, and birth care. Services include obstetricians, midwives and family physicians, modern birthing facilities, pain management options, lactation consultants, genetic counselling in pregnancy, maternal fetal medicine, and critical care.

Provides primary care to low-risk pregnant women throughout their pregnancy, labour and birth, and during the first six weeks following birth. Family-centred prenatal and postnatal care for home or hospital births, from practitioners at local hospitals. Postpartum support includes breastfeeding help.

Provides support for pregnant and parenting young people living in the community who may need assistance making connections to community resources, navigating services systems, and learning self-advocacy skills.
Also offers Community Education and Awareness workshops/presentations about young parent needs. Staff are available to offer in-service education about the needs of young parents and the supports offered through St. Martin's Manor and the Young Parent Network of Hamilton

Provides a residence and supports for young people who are pregnancy and new mothers. The length of stay is dependent on individual needs. Staff work closely with mothers to develop their individual goals/life plans.

• Pre-natal Program - focus is for women to experience a healthy pregnancy and birth as well as learning self care and life skills necessary to transition to their new roles as mothers
• Post-natal Program - focus is for new parents and their infants to get to know each other and for the new parents to learn parenting skills and infant care
