Processes refugee claimants, clients finalized for permanent residence, permanent residence cards, and citizenship tests, interviews and ceremonies. In-person help by appointment only. Once application has been received, IRCC will contact you to schedule an appointment if deemed necessary by the processing office.

The Citizenship certificate is a legal status document, not an identity document or a travel document. It replaces the citizenship card as those are no longer being issued. The citizenship certificate's sole purpose is to prove Canadian citizenship. The new certificate will contain a unique number and basic information about its holder, such as names, date of birth and gender. This will allow other government departments to validate citizenship information via an electronic validation system, reducing the possibility of citizenship fraud.

In some cases staff can also help with form completion, provide information and referral relating to government identification, access limited subsidy toward the cost of replacing a birth certificate, and advocate where needed. Affidavit for lost or stolen identification:
* if someone loses all of their identification or even some of their critical identification they can swear an affidavit in the presence of the Commissioner of Oaths, at the Clerk's Department at the Town Hall
* this affidavit can then be used to assist them in replacing that identification
* the individual will be required to write out their personal information such as full name, birth date, permanent place of residence, what was lost or stolen, and the particulars of how the identification came to be lost or stolen
* they must produce current and valid photo identification bearing their signature
