Specialized shared-ride transit service from accessible-door-to-accessible-door within City limits.
- drivers assist wheelchair passengers via wheelchair accessible ramps from street level door to street level door
- walking assistance provided to ambulatory passengers
- bookings are first come first call basis
- pick-up / return rides must be booked at same time
- bookings may be made up to seven days in advance - up to 2 hours before

Passengers are responsible for having someone assist them if there is more than one step at pick-up location or destination. Drivers may not enter a building past second set of doors. It is the passenger's responsibility to determine if location is accessible before booking a ride.
NOTE:
- Passengers will be notified if service delivery will be by taxi rather than by a Mobility Services vehicle. Taxis used only in times of urgency.
- This is a shared-ride transportation service; trips may take up to 40-55 minutes in length.

Any customer who requires support can apply for a PLUSone card. The PLUSone card identifies a person who requires assistance while traveling on GRT due to a disability. The person providing assistance will not pay a fare.

Brampton Residence -- 2 wheelchair accessible homes for adults and 1 additional location (four people in each house); residents participate in education, employment, and recreation activities in the community
Supported Independent Living Program -- apartments in Brampton where residents live independently with some employee assistance
Respite Program -- relief for caregivers of adults with a developmental disability; in-house support workers provide assistance in areas such as life skill development, social integration, and access to recreation activities; out of home option -- St Bernard's residence, Toronto; 5 respite beds (not wheelchair accessible) - fee for service
Community Connections Program -- Peel-- assists individuals to access the supports required to develop the skills for daily living and achieve a more independent lifestyle while living in the family home; provides opportunities to meet new people, develop new friendships, develop life, social skills and community safety skills
Transition into Long Term Care Program -- Peel -- 8 weeks of supports for seniors with developmental disabilities experiencing cognitive and physical decline who are residing at home and will be transitioning into long term care to maintain or connect to networks of support
Faith Outreach Program -- connects adults with developmental disabilities with the faith community of their choice, and helps them become more involved with groups and activities in their faith communities
